We are thrilled to be finalists at 2022 The Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence Awards (EVIEs) for ‘Best New Product or Service (C&I & public)’.
Our nomination comes for our pop-up mini solar car park and EV charging hub, Papilio3.
Papilio3 is a pop-up mini solar car park and electric vehicle charging hub which is deployable in only 24 hours and will boost the roll out of EV charging infrastructure and help to decarbonise the transport sector.
It’s designed to tackle the UK’s need to expand electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure ahead of the government’s proposed ban on the sale of new diesel and petrol vehicles in 2030.
Constructed around a recycled shipping container and able to support up to 12 fast electric vehicle charge points, the solar and battery-boosted charging system optimises the speed of charge and reduces the carbon intensity of electricity used.

The winners for all awards will be announced at the EVIEs 2022 gala dinner and ceremony on 5 October, at the Leonardo Royal London St Paul’s Hotel, London, UK.
