3ti is proud to join Forest Carbon’s Carbon Club

We’ve partnered with Forest Carbon, who is leading the way in developing woodland creation and peatland restoration projects for carbon capture and ecosystem services in the UK.

As new Carbon Club members we will help by compensating for our carbon footprint by supporting new UK woodland creation through making one-off contributions after specific activities and an annual subscription for general activities.

Whilst we continue to push this transition and lower our footprint, we recognise there is still hard-to-abate emissions relating to our activities, therefore we’ve opted to invest in UK nature-based projects to compensate for that impact now.

Forest Carbon have planted over 10.3 million new trees in 220+ new woodlands since 2006 with partner projects removing nearly 3 million tonnes of CO2e from the atmosphere, as well as providing a host of other benefits to society, including habitat creation, biodiversity support, flood mitigation, river ecosystem improvement and public access.

Since signing up, we’ve already helped to support amazing climate projects in Northumberland, the Scottish Highlands and York!

You can learn more about about their mission on Forest Carbon’s website.
