There could not be a more inspiring and positive way to begin this journey. But we are not stopping there!
Although we’re now officially overfunding, we’re able to continue to welcome investment, with additional funds allowing us to do more in a shorter time frame.
Having undertaken successful projects with Bentley Motors in Crewe (1,500 parking spaces) and JP Morgan in Bournemouth (900 parking spaces); we’re currently working on ground-breaking projects for the MoD and NHS and will return to Crewe in a few months’ time, to deliver a second project for Bentley.
We’re also pleased to say that we have a strong pipeline of other large scale solar car park projects that will keep us busy well into the future. We will share details of these exciting developments as and when contracts are signed.
Plans to roll out our pop-up mini solar car park, Papilio3, are well underway but we’re looking at ways of developing our technology and expanding our team even more to meet the growing demand of EV solar car parks.
We’re generating clean energy today, for everyone’s tomorrow as the electric vehicle market continues to grow and around 14 million EVs are expected on UK roads by 2030.
40% of UK electricity is generated from fossil fuels and when EVs are rapid charged at peak times, this is what many drivers are unwittingly using.
Yet the amount of solar energy that falls on the world in just one hour is enough to power the entire planet for a year and we believe we should be using more of it!
Along with raising to grow our team and to further develop our technology, we’re planning to roll out the first 30 of Papilio3 which allows us to install up to 12 fast charge points in one go, in under 24 hours. It needs no new grid connection and, in most cases, no planning permission.
We have enquiries from 90+ companies and expressions of interest from a UK car manufacturer, a County Council, a leisure chain, and a major health care provider.
