Fully Charged film the latest Papilio3 installation at University of Surrey

3ti had a fantastic day last week with Robert Llewellyn and the FullyCharged.SHOW & Everything Electric team, with our latest Papilio3 install at the University of Surrey!

Slow grid upgrades can often hinder the rapid rollout of charging infrastructure. However, 3ti has developed the nifty, solar-powered Papilio3 that can be delivered by truck and installed in a matter of hours. Robert visited an installation at the University of Surrey to find out what all of the fuss is about! ‪@EverythingElectricShow

With a strong focus on sustainability, the University will use the EV charging hub to support both destination and workplace charging. It was great to demonstrate how easy it is to access fast, fair, clean, and reliable EV charging infrastructure.

At 3ti, we are passionate about renewable energy and committed to decarbonising the transport sector by providing low-carbon EV charging solutions.
Our approach transforms existing parking facilities into revenue-generating assets that support the energy transition, offering businesses and EV drivers a cost-effective alternative to home charging.
Papilio3, our multi-award winning solar car park and EV charging hub, is helping to expand a reliable EV charging network. Built around an upcycled shipping container, Papilio3 can be installed in under 8 hours, making it a rapid, scalable solution to accelerate EV adoption.

Designed for fleet, destination and workplace charging, Papilio3 leverages longer dwell times to deliver efficient EV charging while optimising the use of locally generated solar energy. It is already operational across the UK at notable sites like Bentley Motors, Silverstone Circuits, various Councils, Police Forces, and NHS locations, to name a few.

We will be showcasing Papilio3 at the FullyCharged.SHOW & Everything Electric South at Farnborough International from 11th-13th October, please visit us on stand C32!
