24 Charge points at Bentley's Crewe HQ Bentley needed to expand renewable EV charging at its Crewe headquarters to support growing staff demand and complement its existing 10,000-panel solar array.

The project story

Challenge

Meeting growing workplace charging demand.

As more Bentley colleagues made the switch to electric vehicles, demand for convenient workplace charging at its Crewe headquarters continued to grow.

Already committed to renewable energy, with an extensive 10,000-panel solar array on site, Bentley wanted to build on its existing infrastructure while supporting its wider sustainability ambitions.

Having previously worked with 3ti on its solar car park installation, Bentley was looking to take the next step in expanding its EV charging provision.

Solution

Building on a successful partnership.

Bentley’s relationship with 3ti began with the installation of a solar car park, supporting the company’s commitment to generating renewable energy on site.

As its EV charging requirements developed, Bentley turned to 3ti again, this time investing in a HALO FastHub to provide additional workplace charging.

The relationship continued to grow, with Bentley subsequently commissioning a second HALO FastHub, expanding its charging provision to 24 additional charge points across the two hubs.

Each HALO FastHub combines EV charging with integrated solar generation and energy management in one modular system, complementing Bentley’s existing renewable energy infrastructure.

From the initial solar car park through to two HALO FastHubs, 3ti has supported Bentley’s evolving requirements with practical, scalable infrastructure.

Outcome

Repeat investment. Measurable impact.

Bentley’s continued investment in 3ti technology is backed by measurable results.

Together, the two HALO FastHubs support an average of 1,200 charging sessions each month, delivering approximately 56,000 kWh of energy monthly and recording 33.8 tonnes of CO₂ savings over a 12-month period.

Beyond the figures, the project tells a wider story of a customer relationship that has developed over time.

From its first solar car park installation to returning for a second HALO FastHub, Bentley has continued to choose 3ti as it expands its renewable energy and EV charging infrastructure.

It’s a demonstration of how an initial project can develop into a lasting partnership, delivering practical solutions as a business’s needs evolve.

The exciting addition of further solar panels supports Bentley’s ongoing commitment to its Beyond100 strategy
